Doctor of Medicine | Psychiatry - General/Other Location: Ohio Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Psychiatry MD in Ohio! Our client in Ohio is seeking a Psychiatrist for a 120-day assignment starting Mar 9, 2026. This Physician will provide inpatient coverage during 8-hour shifts and participate in a 1:4 call rotation, handling admissions, discharges, and offering consult-liaison services to adult patients with diverse psychiatric and co-occurring disorders. Responsibilities and Duties - Provide inpatient coverage. - Participate in a 1:4 call rotation. - Manage an inpatient unit, comprising of psychiatric beds and addiction medicine beds. - Treat adult patients with conditions such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, co-occurring disorders, and some substance abuse. - Occasionally see dual diagnosis patients. - Handle patient discharges and admissions. - Provide Consult-Liaison service coverage for medical/surgical psychiatric consult requests. - Collaborate with an associated Addictionologist.
