Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support elementary
students with diverse speech and language needs at a Nashville, TN
school. This contract position covers the current school year (CSY)
through the end-of-school-year (ESOY) period, with a start date as
soon as possible. Responsibilities include providing direct
speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 13
students while contributing assessment data, progress reports, and
IEP input for a total of 20 students. The caseload includes
children with various speech and language disorders, including
three students who utilize AAC (Augmentative and Alternative
Communication) devices. The SLP will participate in IEP meetings
and write IEPs as part of their duties. The school operates on a
consistent schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in
Tennessee Tennessee teaching certification in Speech-Language
Pathology Experience in school-based speech-language pathology
preferred Familiarity with AAC devices and working with diverse
elementary-aged populations Strong skills in IEP development and
participation in team meetings Job Details: Location: Nashville, TN
(Elementary School) Contract Duration: Current School Year until
End of School Year Hours: 8:00 AM 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
