Vice President for Institutional Advancement and External

Summary Description: Warner Pacific University is seeking a dynamic
and highly entrepreneurial leader to be the next Vice President for
Institutional Advancement and External Relations. Reporting to the
President and working closely with the Board of Trustees, the Vice
President will strengthen the culture of philanthropy through the
use of leading-edge practices. Along with the President, this role
will be charged with rebuilding Warner Pacific's advancement and
external relations footprint in alignment with its minority-serving
mission and desire to move into civic and corporate spaces.-- The
Vice President for Institutional Advancement and External Relations
is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive
institutional advancement programs and recruiting and developing
talented team members focused toward the ultimate goal of
significantly increasing constituent involvement and fundraising
outcomes. The advancement function includes responsibility for the
annual fund, corporate and foundation relations, major gifts and
gift planning, endowment, capital campaigns, and alumni and
constituent relations efforts, stewardship and advancement
services. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position.

Warner Pacific is a Christ-centered, urban liberal arts university
in Portland, Oregon with approximately 900 students. The
university's main campus occupies 15 acres on the south slope of
Mt. Tabor at the intersection of Southeast 68 th --Avenue and
Division Street. Its three Professional and Graduate Studies
Program sites are located 30 blocks east of the main campus in
Portland; in Vancouver, Washington; and in Longview, Washington.
The University has approximately 10,000 alumni and maintains a
comprehensive database of its alumni and friends of the university
