Job DescriptionCabinetworks Group has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Manager at our manufacturing facility in Marshall, Texas.The Maintenance Manager oversees maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems. This position participates in hiring and training staff within the maintenance department. The Maintenance Manager organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff. The successful candidate conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.Job Summary:The Maintenance Manager will lead and direct the daily plant level activities of the Maintenance department and ensure that the plant maintains a positive and safe working environment. You will partner with our local management staff to develop and implement programs, processes, and actions, and to drive all facilities and maintenance activities.Job Responsibilities:Supervises, plans, schedules and prioritizes work for all maintenance and tool room personnel, providing expertise and guidance in the performance of their functionCoordinates outside contracting services for any work to the facilities or maintenance/engineering projectsManages all budgets relating to the maintenance department and all manufacturing maintenance accountsContinuously improve the preventative maintenance program in support of divisional/corporate Lean Initiatives, including root cause analysis. Administrator of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System); establishes and maintains the PM program including planning, scheduling and prioritization of this systemAccepts or rejects work orders, providing estimates for make/buy decisions. Approves and purchases repair parts, contractor work and work order materialsMaintains contact with all environmental regulatory agencies, keeping informed from federal, state and local authorities on regulations regarding all aspects of environmental regulation.
