DescriptionSummary: This position is offered as a seasonal contract for critical care and non-critical areas throughout the hospital. This could either come with an optional 90 day extension or full time/part time/PRN employment depending on our needs. Could be required to float within service line dependent upon hospital needs. During the 12 week contract seasonal RN will provide professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Prepare equipment and assists physician during examinations and treatments. Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors patient vital signs. Observes and maintains records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress. Requirements: Current Texas license as a registered nurseBLS by American Heart AssociationOther certifications as required for specific departmentsGraduate from a professional school of nursingComputer literacy is desired Required to work at least 72 hours per bi-weekly pay period, including every other weekendMust work one major holiday (if applicable during term) Work Type: Per Diem As Needed
