Job Description:
Summary: Experienced Nurse required to provide high-quality
patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting, utilizing critical
thinking skills and evidence-based practice to deliver safe and
effective care.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong nursing background, with
a focus on patient-centered care, and will be able to work
independently and as part of a team to achieve excellent patient
outcomes. The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator,
able to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals to
provide comprehensive care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide routine and complex care to patients, utilizing the
nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate
patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care,
incorporating evidence-based practice and patient-centered care
principles.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide
comprehensive care, including medication administration, treatment,
and education.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given,
utilizing accurate and timely documentation practices.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family
members, and caregivers, identifying issues and resources.

functions in a particular nursing unit during an assigned
shift.

unit or facility.

equipment problems.

more groups of patients or conditions.
- Describes functions and features of the system used to enter,
validate, update, and forward medical orders.
- Patient Chart Reading and Interpretation
- Describes experiences in reading and interpreting patient
charts for patients on the unit and under own care.
- Reviews patients' charts for completion and accuracy,
identifying and alerting to mistakes or omissions.
- Patient Safety
- Shares experiences with ensuring safety for one or more patient
groups or settings.
- Explains key features of safety guidelines and procedures for
those groups and settings.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty,
preferred.
- BLS required.
- RN License in state of employment or compact.
Work Schedule: 7PM - 7AM
