Job Description Description - Job Summary We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urology team in Longview, TX. The primary focus of this role will be seeing follow-up patients and post-operative patients, helping to ensure continuity of care and excellent patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a patient-centered approach. Key Responsibilities - Provide outpatient follow-up care for established urology patients - Manage post-operative visits, monitor recovery, and address complications or concerns - Conduct routine assessments for chronic urologic conditions - Order and interpret labs, imaging, and urinalysis - Participate in in-office procedures as appropriate - Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and long-term management of urologic conditions - Collaborate closely with supervising physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff - Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system Qualifications - Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA) - Prior experience in urology, internal medicine, or a surgical subspecialty preferred - Strong communication, clinical assessment, and organizational abilities - Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team Schedule & Compensation - Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Competitive salary commensurate with experience - Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, malpractice coverage, PTO, CME allowance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match
