Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) – Texas Start Date: March 2, 2026 Location: Longview, Texas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Highlights: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) experience required Full-time position with consistent weekday schedule Opportunity to utilize skills in circulating, scrubbing, and first assist roles Collaborative perioperative team environment Comprehensive credentialing process ensures quality standards Requirements: Current RN License in Texas or compact state CNOR Perioperative Nursing Certificate required Successful completion of an RNFA program meeting AORN standards and accepted by the Competency and Credentialing Institute (CCI) Minimum 5 years of OR experience including both scrubbing and circulating Previous cardiovascular OR experience required BLS Certification required (AHA only) ACLS Certification required (AHA only) Must be comfortable functioning in circulating, scrubbing, and first assist capacities Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers an experienced RNFA the chance to work in a specialized cardiovascular surgical setting while maintaining an excellent work-life balance with a Monday through Friday schedule.
