Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with physical, cognitive, or developmental challenges. Provide both inpatient and outpatient therapy services, tailoring interventions to each patient's needs. Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques to improve patients' functional abilities in daily activities. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques, equipment usage, and home exercise programs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress in accordance with regulatory and facility guidelines. Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations and CHRISTUS Health standards. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Licensure: Current Texas Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain). Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
