Job Description Job Description Overview The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients. This may include fractures, diseases, and abnormalities of patient anatomy. Responsibilities Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced. Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury. Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images. Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel. Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development. Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work related events. This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Qualifications Certification and Experience Certificate Radiologic Technology Required 2 Years Pediatric Orthopedics Preferred American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Required
