Job Description Equity Staffing Group is currently staffing a
Medical Assistant for on-site work in Shreveport, LA 71105. This is
contract work with a Fortune 500 organization. Our client serves

Assistant Location : Shreveport, LA 71105 Duration: 3 Month
contract to start, potential for extension or conversion to FTE
Rate : $27.00/Hr Start Date : ASAP Description: Must have
qualifications/experience: Triaging including taking vitals,
reviewing medication recording, documenting social history,
surgical history and vaccination history. Medical Assistants
research/data mine though external medical records, and Member
Viewer to gather information for the nurse practitioner to complete
the comprehensive wellness assessment. The data assists the nurse
practitioner with validating/diagnosing health conditions, closing
gaps in care as well as member education. Able to check in patients
at the front desk and establish a quick rapport. Type of
certification required: Medical Assistant experience 1 year Shift
start & end times: 7:45am to 4:30am M, T, W, Th, 7:45am to 2pm
