In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing both facility-based and home-based therapy, aimed at improving patient mobility, reducing pain, and promoting overall well-being following illness, injury, or surgery. Assess patient condition by conducting physical tests and health history. Develop treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Implement physical therapy interventions and monitor patient progress. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and injury prevention. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Maintain patient confidence by keeping information confidential. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate services. Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements. Strong anatomical and physiological knowledge Expertise in therapeutic practices and modalities Excellent patient management and interpersonal skills Ability to operate physical therapy equipment safely Capable of designing effective treatment plans tailored to patient's needs Proficient in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Physical Therapist License CPR Certified Membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) preferred
