What You ll Do
- Provide physical therapy services across a
mixed inpatient (swing bed) and outpatient
caseload.
- Support care plans and deliver therapy based on patient needs
and facility workflows.
- Supervise and support PTA staff, offering
guidance and coordination of care.
- Assist with patient education to promote
safety, independence, and progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate within the
therapy team using the assigned EMR/documentation
system.
- Work independently in a smaller-team
environment while managing multiple settings.
- Demonstrate strong time management and adaptability while
floating between inpatient and outpatient
responsibilities.
What You Need
Required
- Arkansas Physical Therapist (PT) license
(active)
- AHA BLS certification (current)
- NPI number
- 2+ years of PT experience
- Strong communication and patient education
skills
- Ability to work independently in a smaller team
environment
- Familiarity with EMR/documentation
systems
Preferred
- Experience in rural or critical access
hospital settings
- Comfort floating between inpatient and
outpatient caseloads
- Truebridge/CPSI EMR experience (strongly
preferred)
About the Assignment
This 7-week travel assignment begins 08/17/2026
(firm) and supports coverage for a leave of absence. The
role includes a blend of inpatient swing bed and
outpatient therapy services, with the opportunity
to help lead and collaborate with a rehab team while providing
supervision and support to PTA staff.
