Job Description Job Description This is a 1 week contract and ideal candidate is based in the Nashville, TN area. A TEKsystems client in the Nashville, TN area is upgrading/replacing point of sale (POS) systems at various store locations. The IT Technician is responsible for removing existing Verifone MX925 devices, install Verifone M450 PIN pads according to client's provided documentation. Ensure all cables are securely connected and functional. Expected to maintain cable hygiene: conceal routing, removal of excess slack, elimination of trip hazards and use of approved cable management materials. The IT Technician will conduct testing and verification of installed devices: Perform successful test transactions with the Manager on Duty (“MOD”) and Complete our client's Pin Pad Verification Form for each register. Capture required documentation and upload to a client's designated repository. Working hours are expected to be 8:45am M-F, 4-8 hours shifts, and normal business hours. From March 18–20, the team will complete the first half of the point-of-sale systems at each designated location. They will then return to those same sites from April 15–17 to complete the remaining POS systems. Tools Required: • Standard PC tool kit • Smart phone to take and send photographs • Security torque screwdriver • Double sided tape • Zip ties • Velcro straps • Wire cutters Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
