Job Description:
West Fraser, a leader in the North American integrated wood
products industry, is seeking a skilled Industrial Manufacturing
Electrician for its operations. This position plays a crucial role
in maintaining the electrical integrity and safety of our
manufacturing facilities, which produce a wide range of products
including lumber, MDF, and plywood. The successful candidate will
ensure operational efficiency and support our commitment to
producing high-quality, sustainable wood products. Install, test,
maintain, and repair electrical equipment and fixtures, ensuring
adherence to codes and safety standards. Troubleshoot and resolve
electrical issues in manufacturing equipment and systems to
minimize downtime. Perform regular preventive maintenance on
machines and equipment. Work closely with other maintenance team
members to enhance system performance. Assist in the development
and implementation of improvement projects across the facility.
Adhere to all company policies and regulatory safety regulations.
Document and maintain records of installations, repairs, and
maintenance activities. Proficiency in reading and interpreting
electrical blueprints and schematics. Strong troubleshooting and
problem-solving skills in high-speed manufacturing environments.
Experience with industrial electrical systems and power
distribution. Familiarity with modern maintenance and electrical
diagnostic equipment. Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Electrician). Experience and/or certification in low-voltage,
high-voltage, and PLC automation systems is desirable.
