to contribute to maintaining a clean, professional, and safe
working environment. In this multi-faceted role, you will perform
routine and non-routine work as directed, always adhering to
company policy, procedures, and values. Packaging Technician -
Ensure Quality and Presentation of Finished Goods Are you a
detail-oriented and safety-conscious individual who takes pride in
the final presentation of a product? Join our team as a Packaging
Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our
finished goods are accurately packaged and meet our high-quality
standards. You will be responsible for preparing products for sale,
conducting quality checks, and maintaining a safe and efficient
work environment. What You'll Do: Maintain a clean, professional,
and safe working environment at all times, adhering to all company
safety protocols. Accurately package finished goods according to
specifications and quality standards, ensuring they are ready for
sale. Perform routine quality tests on packaged products,
meticulously documenting results and ensuring timely completion
according to established procedures. Collaborate with Quality
Control to review test results and ensure optimal product quality
and efficiency in the packaging process. Proactively identify and
report any out-of-specification results to the Shift Manager.
Maintain packaging supplies and communicate inventory needs to the
Shift Manager. Participate in special testing requests from Quality
Control as needed. Ensure accurate and timely data entry related to
packaging and quality checks. Collect samples for quality data
checks, projects, and studies within established timelines. Adhere
to all company policies, procedures, and values. Foster a culture
of safe behavior and environmental compliance within the team.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. Be
flexible to meet call-in requirements and work extended hours,
including nights and rotating 12-hour shifts, as needed,
potentially including weekends. Perform other duties as assigned to
support packaging operations. What You'll Bring: High School
Diploma or equivalent required. Excellent attention to detail and a
commitment to accuracy. Willingness to learn new software
applications. Good organizational, time management, and
communication skills. Ability to adapt to changing schedules and
work demands. Working Conditions: This position requires a thorough
understanding of company policy and strict adherence to safety
requirements in all work environments. The work environment in the
plant may involve exposure to noise, heat, dust, moving mechanical
parts, varying temperatures, and chemicals. You will be required to
wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including
hearing protection. The role involves a combination of standing,
walking, sitting (including for extended periods during data
entry), climbing stairs and ladders, and occasional lifting. The
work pace can be fast, and flexibility in work hours is required.
Physical Requirements: Occasionally lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
Ability to climb several flights of stairs and ladders. Dexterity
to open and close flow valves. Occasionally bend, twist, and turn
while lifting less than 50 pounds. Ability to perform data entry
while seated for over one hour. Ability to work sitting down for
extended periods, up to two hours. Ability to walk up to two or
more miles per day. Ability to perform tasks requiring pushing
(e.g., using brooms and shovels). Ability to perform repetitious
movements for up to two hours. Ability to work in a fast-paced
environment. Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces,
and in temperatures ranging from 0 to over 100°ree;F.
Ability to stand for extended periods. Must be able to wear
required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hearing
protection. Ability to use hand and power tools as needed. If you
