Job Description Manufacturing Assembly of Windows Production Worker I NEED WORKERS WITH EXPERIENCE IN MANUFACTURING ASSEMBLY. THIS IS A MUST. NO FELONIES MUST HAVE A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA BILINGUAL IS A PLUS Will work as a part of an assembly team performing multiple assembly duties for the construction of commercial windows and doors. Essential Job Functions · Will work as part of a team in the assembly of various window and door products. Assigned team and tasks will vary based on business necessity. · High paced assembly and machine operations will be performed. · Learn and perform repetitive job tasks. · Operate equipment/tools that require close control, adjustment, following production orders. · Regular, dependable attendance. · Comply with safety, quality, and production standards requirements. Abilities: · Use of hand tools and machinery is required. · Responsible for accuracy and quality. Inspection for quality will be part of the production worker’s duties. · Requires strong communication skills and the ability to learn the quality standards. · Requires use of measurement devices. · Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. · Read and interpret process documentation (SOP, Cut Sheets, etc.) · Work in a team environment with the ability to communicate both written and orally in a concise manner. Requirements and Qualifications: · Must be 18 years of age or older. · Pass pre-employment tests, as required. · Pass pre-work ability screen, as required. · Pass Job Certification tests(s), as required. · High school diploma or GED preferred · Manufacturing related experience is preferred. · Job specific experience preferred. Physical Requirements: · Lift up to 100 lbs. at waist level on an occasional basis and up to 40 lbs. at shoulder level on an occasional basis when handling products. · Push or pull with up to 100 lbs. of force on an occasional basis when moving products. · Generate up to 100 lbs. of grip strength on an occasional basis with each hand while handling products. · Generate up to 20 lbs. of pinch strength on an occasional basis with each hand while handling products. · Display average coordination with each hand on a continuous basis while performing job tasks. · Perform elevated work on an occasional basis when handling products. · Stoop, kneel or squat on an occasional basis when handling products. · Reach forward and to the side on a frequent basis when handling products. · Stand and walk on a continuous basis during the course of each shift. · This job requires the use of close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth vision. · Able to perform repetitive tasks up to 10 hours per day. Working Environment: · Tobacco free workplace. · Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for each position. · Noise level requires hearing protection in designated areas. · Seasonal high temperatures and humidity. · Fast paced work with productivity goals. · Work in a team environment. · May require frequent handling of glass and other product materials. · May have frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts. PAY $14.00 HR. Mon-Fri 7:00-3:30
