segments: Corporate Services, Hospitals, K-12 Schools,
is seeking an Executive Chef 2 for
Grambling State University in Grambling,
LA. This chef will typically work an overnight shift. The chef will
report to our Executive Chef 3 and will be responsible for all food
operations for resident dining and catering. Our dining hall
is open 24 hours/day! This chef will manage a small group of
front of house employees during their shift. Will be
responsible for upholding brand standard and food integrity during

Provides culinary leadership within a
medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and
staff management & training. Works directly with internal and
external clients managing the catering process from beginning
- Implements & coordinates the culinary function.
- Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.
- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational
- Manages catering & retail areas.
- Customer & Client satisfaction.
- Financial management to include food cost & labor management.
- Manages food & physical safety programs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent
Management Experience - 2 years
Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary
services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering
services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
