  • Ultrasonographer / Radiology at Longview Regional Medical Center.
  • The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
  • Responsibilities include abdominal, pelvic (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms.
  • Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotum) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations.
    • Job Requirements
    • Graduate of an accredited college or university in Sonography.
    • ARDMS (RVT).
    • BLS.
    • 1-year experience in specialty.
    • Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from facility.
      • Schedule Information
      • Day shift: 7a-3:30p, Monday-Friday with call included.
      • Days plus call required.
        • Additional Details
        • Ultrasonographer - Days plus on call required.
        • Will position be required to float to other units? Yes.
