*Registered Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) - Night Shift**Location:* Longview, TX*Shift:* Night Shift (12-hour shifts)*Experience Required:* Minimum *1 year* of Intermediate Care, Step-Down, or Progressive Care experience*Position Overview*A leading hospital in *Longview, TX* is seeking a *dedicated and experienced Intermediate Care (IMC) Registered Nurse* to join its dynamic team. This role is ideal for a compassionate and skilled RN who thrives in a *fast-paced, high-acuity environment* and is committed to delivering *exceptional patient care*.As an *IMC RN*, you will care for patients who require *a higher level of monitoring and intervention than a general medical-surgical unit*, but who do not need the full intensive care unit (ICU) level of support. You will play a vital role in assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.*Key Responsibilities** *Provide direct patient care* to *moderately to critically ill* patients in an *Intermediate Care Unit (IMC)* setting* Monitor *cardiac rhythms, oxygen saturation, and hemodynamic status** Administer *IV medications, drips, blood products, and other prescribed treatments** Manage *complex wound care, tracheostomies, and non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP)** Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions, initiating appropriate interventions* Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized patient care plans* Educate patients and families on treatment plans, post-hospitalization care, and lifestyle modifications* Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the *electronic medical record (EMR)* system* Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and *patient safety protocols**Qualifications & Requirements*--- *Active RN license in the state of Texas* (or eligibility for endorsement)--- *Minimum 1 year of Intermediate Care, Step-Down, or Progressive Care experience*--- *BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required*--- *ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Preferred*--- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills--- Ability to work effectively in a *fast-paced, team-oriented environment**Why Join This Team?*Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $29.76 - $32.55 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceMedical Specialty:* Cardiology* Critical & Intensive Care* Medical-Surgical* Wound CarePhysical Setting:* High acuity unitExperience:* Intermediate care: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Required)Ability to Commute:* Marshall, TX 75670 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Marshall, TX 75670: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
