Health is seeking a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst
(BCBA) to work at our H2 Health Longview Therapy Center an
outpatient clinic located in Longview, TXThe candidate will be
working with our highly trained interdisciplinary team to enhance
life quality and provide the most effective course of intervention
for every child. BCBA's is responsible to complete supervision and
program oversight to our skilled RBTs, in addition to providing
some individual and small group instruction to children aged 2-18.
Services are provided in clinical and community settings, such as
public and private schools.Job Responsibilities include but are not
limited to:
- Provide quality supervision and program oversight to RBT's and
BCaBA's on assigned cases
- Collaborate with families to assist them in determining short
and long term goals
- Provide instruction for children with varying disabilities
- Use curriculum and methodologies/strategies to teach a variety
of skill acquisition types such as play, communication, self-help,
replacement, and academic behaviors
- Collect and input data daily
- Write and implement individualized behavior plans to include
the use of PCM procedures
- Collaborate and work with other disciplines and community
providers (such as school teachers)
- Work independently and demonstrate initiative
- Education: Graduate of an accredited (APTA) Physical Therapist
Assistant programQualifications:
- Currently certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
(BCBA)
- Current license in the state of Texas
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be comfortable working in an outpatient or school
setting
- Must be fun, upbeat, energetic, and creative
- Must be able to sit on the floor on the ground and move easily
in this capacity
- Must be able to lift small children and able to teach and
assist with toileting skills
- Must pass required background checks and be enrolled, or able
to enroll, as a Medicaid providerEducation: Must have a minimum of
a Master's Degree in Psychology or a related fieldExperience: Prior
experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst; however, newly
licensed BCBA will be considered.Facility Hours: Monday thru Friday
from 8 AM to 6 PM. Compensation: Commensurate with experience and
$5,000 sign-on bonus Job Type: Full-timeWe offer competitive wages,
