Job Description Work Schedule Tues, Thurs, Fri: 11:00p-7:30a JOB SUMMARY: The individual in this role, a licensed Medical Technician, is accountable for daily sample processing tasks and performs standard procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Receive and process specimens as per department protocols Meet productivity expectations set by departmental guidelines Follow all laboratory safety precautions and procedures Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering supplies Produce, interpret, and report accurate test results Communicate section information to the appropriate personnel Conduct instrument maintenance and troubleshooting Assist in maintaining effective department QA programs Collaborate with other departments within the organization Adhere to Corporate Compliance Program and policies EDUCATION & LICENSURE: Associate's degree in a relevant field or medical technology Valid ASCP or AMT certification Maintain continuing education for certification REQUIREMENTS: One year of preferred job-related experience Students or recent graduates eligible for ASCP or AMT exams can apply APPLY NOW!
