Description Job Title: Fellowship-Trained Breast Radiologist
Location: Shreveport, Louisiana Institution: CHRISTUS Health
Position Summary: CHRISTUS Health, a leading provider of
comprehensive healthcare services, is seeking a fellowship-trained
breast radiologist to join our dynamic and collaborative team. The
ideal candidate will have advanced training in breast imaging and a
strong commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and
multidisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Interpret
screening and diagnostic mammograms (2D and 3D/tomosynthesis)
Perform breast ultrasounds and MRI interpretations Conduct
image-guided breast procedures (stereotactic, ultrasound, and
MRI-guided biopsies, wire/localization procedures) Participate in
multidisciplinary breast tumor boards Collaborate closely with
breast surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists Contribute to
quality improvement initiatives and teaching (if applicable)
Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. degree Board certified or board
eligible in Diagnostic Radiology Completion of an accredited breast
imaging fellowship Eligible for medical licensure in Louisiana
Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to
